The Pacific Northwest Girl

I never realized how much I loved the Pacific Northwest until I just recently moved back up to Bellingham. There is not place I would rather be in my life right now then up here in Whatcom County enjoying the amazing weather and amazing environment. Now you might be saying...."seriously this girl likes the weather up there?"
...and YES I DO!
 I love it!!
Just the other day I hiked Raptor Ridge in the POURING, I mean TORRENTIAL! downpour!! and did it again in even colder weather. But man the hike was well worth it! 8 miles, 2 1/2 hours later I felt amazing and felt so healthy and new! Just as the PNW always does for me!

Here are some photos from Raptor Ridge the second time around! Stay tuned for more of my hiking adventure! And just wait till Henry gets to come along!!

This week I finally have the pleasure of photographing my best friend in the whole world. She is a beautiful model based out of Bellingham, WA and we had such a fun time!! The location is secret! But it was gorgeous! =)
This day couldn't have made me more confident with my photography and I hope everyone likes it as well!

Henry meets Kita

Just this week Henry meet her Aunt Kita, AKA my parents dog. She is about 5 years old and is a Husky Dingo mix breed. She is a fun runner and jumper and has just as much energy as Henry. It has been so fun watching them bond and play so much!

Henry Visits Casa Grande Ruins

a couple weeks ago I tagged along on one of my moms work adventures to Casa Grande Arizona. As she was busy with meetings we took the car and traveled 20 min to the Casa Grande Ruins. Such a cool site that preserves a Native American "town" or compound. These ruins were huge and these photos do not do it justice!
This was Henry's first long car ride as it was 2 hours from home! And he was pooped (see pic below).
It was a fun, relaxing and educational trip for Henry and I!

Henry, The Truest Believer

On my quest to find myself and piece I found Henry. I adopted him from Sun Valley Animal Shelter in Arizona. He is a 7 month old Catahoula Lab mix and he is a cutie!! He was frightened of the camera noise during his first photo shoot. But the pics turned out fantastic!

Take a Look!!

Finding Tranquility

I apologize for not being on top of things lately but its been a rough summer. I am currently in search of relaxation and tranquility. I am currently living in Arizona with my mother just for a few weeks. But before my venture down here in the heat I spent some time with two beautiful ladies and Heather Meadows, a.k.a. Mt. Baker vistas. and Picture lake. It was really nice being able to be there in the beautiful light sprinkle and nice hiking trails. Here are some photos to express my emotion from that day.
