Spring has Sprung!

I think I am finally starting to discover who I am as an artist! I have discovered how much I love and adore sun flare and natural light with the beauty of gold tones! I think I am on to something! This shoot I did with another co-worker (seriously guys the best models ever! and usually they do it for free cause its fun!). Jessica has never modeled before and did a fantastic job! She took my awkward direction very well but I have become more confident in my posing and I am loving it!

I cannot wait to work with her in the future as well as with other models and artists.

Locations: Cornwall Park and Boulevard Park Bellingham, WA

Sweethearts

Two Wonderful coworkers of mine decided they would be a fake couple! I am so grateful for how amazing of a job they did!
I am very proud of their modeling skills they had for this first time shoot! I will be working with these two more but individually in the future. I am very excited to see where they go.

The Newborn Experience

Recently, I was given the opportunity to get to work on some newborn photography! I am so excited to of had this opportunity because it was something new to add to my portfolio. Not only that but all the possibilities of being a photographer can skyrocket from here.

Meet baby Calyum. He was only weeks old when we did this photo shoot and is now one month old. Hopefully I will be working with this family in the future, and to watch this little one grow.

Bohemian Bellingham

This week was full of fun and photos! I can't believe I had two in one day!
Now I wish I could have been able to put my signature sunflower in these photos, but with no Sun and overcast weather hat's not really possible.

This shoot was really fun. Sara messaged me that week and scheduled a shoot with me for that weekend! We decided to drive down to Post Point Park in Fairhaven, WA.

Hair and Makeup done by the model Sara.

Winters Fashion, the Man's Turn

Finally I had the pleasure to shoot with a young man I work with. Since his first day we worked together we have been throwing around ideas for some shoot. So we decided Tom just go for it this weekend. We just happened ed to have time off at the same time and so of course we took the opportunity no matter the weather!

Bobby is outfitted in all JCP mens wear including watch and ring.
Locations included: Downtown Bellingham alley ways as well as Swusl beach.

I used my trusty Canon t3i and a basic 50mm f1.8 lens :)

A Bump in the Night

Woah, It has been way to long ya'll but Here I am back and kickin! Winter is a tough time for me and photography as I work retail and that's pretty much their biggest time of the year. But luckily I was able to find someone to model for me for a night time shoot with my flash! This is my first time shooting in the dark, therefore I am not too happy with these photos but am happy with the outcomes of a handful.
